AUGUST 30, 2012 – SEATTLE – Wizards of the Coast will be represented in full force at PAX Prime (August 31 – September 2) in Seattle, where they will be showcasing all of the latest digital and tabletop products from Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons during engaging activities both on and off the show floor. Magic: The Gathering will give fans the first glimpses of the upcoming expansion for Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 in a daily challenge with the team from LoadingReadyRun. Dungeons & Dragons will invite players to awaken their inner darkness in the Rise of the Underdark campaign and experience a live D&D game with the Penny Arcade and PVP creators in the Paramount Theater.

Magic: The Gathering (Booth #1142)
The Magic: The Gathering Booth will offer a hands-on experience for Magic fans and players, with demos of Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013. Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 is the latest game in the popular video game franchise that is the best way for a new player to learn Magic: The Gathering. Players can also challenge the team from LoadingReadyRun in Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 with a first look at the upcoming expansion featuring all new decks, campaign levels, challenges and more (Friday & Saturday 4-6PM; Sunday 3-5PM).
Dungeons & Dragons (Booth #1132)
The Dungeons & Dragons Booth will be the hub of information for fans to learn about the current Rise of the Underdark campaign and the drow plot to seize the Forgotten Realms, as well as experience D&D’s digital offerings. Fans will have the opportunity to take photos with Lolth, Demon Queen of Spiders, and Drizzt Do’Urden, the most famous drow of all time. The booth is also host to an interactive Facebook quiz that will determine which drow-house an individual would be associated with in the fictional drow city of Menzoberranzan.
Dungeons & Dragons Live With Acquisitions Inc. Celebrity Game (Saturday, September 1; 3:30PM in the Paramount Theater)
Come Saturday to watch the Acquisitions Inc. team (Jerry Holkins, Mike Krahulik, Scott Kurtz, Wil Wheaton) with Dungeon Master Chris Perkins play two hours of the next iteration of Dungeons & Dragons in an entertaining live comedic experience that is sure to delight all D&D fans. Space is limited for this first come, first serve event. PAX badges required to attend.
Return to Ravnica Party (Saturday, September 1; 7 PM at The Showbox at the Market)
For the fourth consecutive year, Wizards of the Coast will be the host of the most sought-to-attend party during PAX Prime. On Saturday, September 1, at 7PM PST, The Showbox (1426 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101) will be transformed into the famed Multiverse plane of Ravnica, featuring preview content from the upcoming Return to Ravnica set. Consumers wishing to attend the event have the opportunity to earn a pass to the party by affiliating with a Guild during PAX Prime. Stop by the Magic Booth (#1142) to learn more.
