How many times can you say that a franchise has come into it’s own on the fifth installment? I can’t think of any other franchise. How many franchises got this many tries to finally get it right? Again I can’t think of any other franchise. Fast Five really is one of a kind. It is getting the best reviews of the franchise by a mile (no pun intended) plus it had the biggest opening weekend of any of the films in the franchise and doesn’t look like it is going to slow down any time soon. H8R’s beware, there is another installment in the “Fast and Furious” movie series! “Fast 5” came out this week to filled theaters and police departments making their speeding ticket quota’s thanks to the fans of this series. “Fast 5” is not the best movie ever, it’s not anything ground breaking, or delivers any award winning performances. But this movie, along with the rest of the movies in the series, does have something that most movies miss and “Fast 5” does it very well, it knows how to have fun! It is a high octane over the top “B” movie and not only does it know it the movie completely embraces it! (more…)
