The Amazing Spider-man is based on the popular comics from Marvel that were created by Stan Lee. It tells the story of Peter Parker who was bit by a spider, and soon he gained some of the abilities of this genetically altered spider. During the course of the movie, he tries to find out the trust about what happened to his parents while learning how to control these new abilities. He soon faces his first villain, the Lizard. Parker fights to save Dr. Connors from the serum that has turned the scientist into the vengeful creature, while keeping the city safe and not getting shot by the cops. This is the beginning of the legacy that is Spider-Man. Beware, spoilers ahead…

If you don’t wanna read the whole thing, the one quote that really upset us was from Joe Quesada from Marvel Comics and he said according to the article:

“…he really doesn’t think there is an actress right now who could carry it, or a character that would work either. I’m thinking I might agree with him on this one actually.”

Episode 182 – Avengers Assembled

This episode we are sorry to say Morgue Anne is no longer with the show but Chris is joined by his friends Kahn and Lilith. After some introductions they discuss this weeks comics, free comic book day, as well as the release of the LONG AWAITED “Avengers” movie. Also, Chris and Lilith talk about her project “Seattle Geeky Girls” a website for Seattle cosplayers.
