JeffBSpidey2BCC has come and gone for another year! I had the thrilling pleasure of attending for a third time.  Bellingham Comic-con has had a long running tradition of being a good classic con full of bin diving and numerous trips down rows of artists.

As always, Eric Burris and BCC have put together a great day of comic book fun. Whether you’re looking for that missing piece to a collection or a whole run of back issues, the many local vendors are sure to have something you just can’t leave without. If prints are on your hunt list, the alley, full of artists, is the place to be. With talents from all different spectrums of the comic book universe, you won’t ever be disappointed. (more…)

Zen LogoZenescope Entertainment, the popular comic book publisher known for its edgy content and top-notch exclusive covers, will be once again appearing at booth #2301 just inside the C entrance of the San Diego Convention Center during Comic-Con International which runs July 17th-21st. Zenescope plans to give away thousands of free comics to fans while showcasing their top talent and offering limited edition convention exclusives and products throughout Comic Con.

Zenescope is Bringing Grimm Fairy Tales Animated to SDCC

Zen LogoZenescope Entertainment has revealed its panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year, which will feature new footage from Grimm Fairy Tales Animated. Here’s the official details:

Grimm Fairy Tales Animated (Friday July 19th,12:00–1:00, Room 4)—Zenescope Entertainment co-founders and co-producers Joe Brusha (Grimm Fairy Tales, Neverland, Oz) and Ralph Tedesco (Grimm Fairy Tales, Inferno, Salem’s Daughter) along with director/producer Jon Schnepp (The Venture Bros, Metalocalypse, ABCs of Death) discuss the Grimm Fairy Tales Animated pilot. Come find out about this horrific re-imagining of the Grimm Fairy Tales from Zenescope Entertainment, Titmouse Inc and Schneppzone. Find out how the project came to fruition, and what big names have gotten involved in the project. With talent like Lena Headey, Chris Hardwick, Briana Evigan, and Robert Forster (to name a few), this project is turning a lot of heads! (more…)

Sony deals a crushing blow at E3

Today was a big day for video games, as it was the first day of E3; the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

E3 rapidly became the yearly event in which most major gaming companies reveal upcoming games and other gaming related accessories. This year is especially exciting because it’s the dawn of the next generation consoles, and both Microsoft and Sony were going to come out guns blazing. (more…)
